Traditions and Toasts

Can you believe Christmas is just a week away?

Do you find yourself asking questions like: Where did this year go? What will we be doing for Christmas? Did I buy enough gifts? What will we do for New Year Eve or day? Should I make a new year’s resolution?  What will 2020 bring?

Where did this year go?  Well, let’s not look back except to be thankful that we are where we are today?

What about Christmas?  Do you have any family traditions? Our family has grown by leaps and bounds this year so getting everyone together on one day is difficult.  Christmas Eve I’ll be fixing a traditional Christmas dinner and having my mom over.  My son and I have decided it will be a Christmas pajama party.  So now to get my mom to agree to wear Christmas pajamas.

New Year’s Eve is just a crazy night to be out and about in my opinion so I plan on staying safely at home. If you have plans please, please have a DD or some form of safe transportation. If you’re up toasting at midnight make a quick toast to me!  LOL

New Year’s day is still a little crazy around here but I’m thinking about taking my mom out for a brunch that day. Starting the year off with family sounds like a great start to me.

My resolutions are well, the same as always. Just be a good human being and LOVE everyone. Don’t forget to start with yourself.

What will 2020 bring?  I have no idea. But I’m excited to see where my journey takes me next.

My toast to you:

May 2020 be filled with true joy, lasting love, the best of health, family, friends and new journeys that excite you down to your soul.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
